I took an IQ (kinda) test tonight which you can get to by clicking this link.
My result was Visual Mathematician with a score of 133.
It’s only 40 questions. Not sure how accurate it is but it was fun to dooooooo.
Here’s what it said about my result:

I created this wallpaper whilst trying to design a backdrop for my karaoke laptop. Something to put up on the screen as I get ready and set to do karaoke. The final version has a big yellow mic instead of the blue one and the words “Welcome to Karaoke With Dave” across the screen. This version is much nicer on the eye.

I took my last project, you know, the grass picture, and added a little bit of movement. Only a very little bit. Slightly animated the flies, rotated the camera and the field. I like how it turned out, though.

I’ve made a new picture with Blender (free 3D software). This one is not ‘really’ an original piece. I did make it from scratch but I followed a tutorial to do it. The flies and the flowers were my own creations, not in the tutorial, and the field wasn’t curved in the tutorial. But the grass itself I needed a lot of help with. Anywho, here it is. Blender rebranded and sold as 3DMagix

Someone has taken the free and open-source 3D package, Blender and decide they can rebrand it and sell it for $47 under the new name ‘3DMagix’.

Some karaoke fun with me singing My Way

Last week I went to a karaoke with the intention of entering a competition. It was only a heat leading to a final with a top prize of £500, so no pressure. Anywho, I sung a couple of songs to enter. I Drove All Night and some other song which escapes me right now. Not good enough to win, unfortunately. Still, it was an interesting night with a man who was a cross between Ronnie Corbett and Woody Allen dancing around the whole evening as though he were on speed.
Here’s a couple of videos from the night. One of the aforementioned Frank (the cross breed comedy guy) and one of myself singing My Way, lovingly filmed by my girlfriend, Sarah.

I didn’t sing My Way until after the winner was announced. Who knows, maybe I’d have won it? lol. Oh, well. C’est la vie as they say in England when they’re trying to sound clever.
New Photo Composition: Handy Man

Here’s a little picture I put together yesterday whilst trying to get a decent photograph of one of my close friends. On my first attempt at taking a picture, the bleeder put his hand up in front of his face. “Nice clear shot!” I thought to myself and I asked him to let me take another photo because I had an idea.
So, lo and behold, he did. I took the two photos into photoshop and here, my dear readers, is the result.

The blog is back! The blog is back!

Many thanks to my brother, Steve, who is now an admin on the blog. My blog is back in working order. Better still, permalinks are now working!
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control of my own making, I haven’t been very creative of late. Therefore, my blog may still be lacking in entries. Well, that is unless someone I know wants to add some posts.
So, once again, big thanks to Steve for making sure my blog AND my website are up and running. Woo.
